Howdy,
Today...today today today...no matter how many times I say today, nothing is coming to me! Maybe because it's far too late to be thinking! What has God done with a day like today? He has single handedly taught the Africa team half a dozen dramas and showed me the most simplistic ways of avoiding the act of killing many of the them throughout the course of this afternoon! mwuahaha just kidding! But not about the drama! That was truely God we got anything done today, yay,amen, more! But in the fact that I get so frustrated with the kids I work with, for some reason right before you go screaming out of the building, God always just slips in that one moment that is amazing and keeps you. Feelings are a funny thing. But today I have a new appreciation for them for some reason. As much as I would sometimes rather not have them, I could not imagine life without them. The people you miss, the things you are impatient for and fight though are all so neccessary. so we hope...

There always are those moments eh?!? We should keep looking for those "saved the day" moments every day. Beautiful Am!
Also, I agree with you about feelings...sometimes it seems that it'd be so much easier without them...but really, God speaks so much through our senses and feeling things. I want to feel Him in every fiber of my being. You??
lol every fiber...sounds like heaven . But I think since God does speaks through emotions they are such targets for destruction. They can be for you or against.
It's true--feelings are a double edged sword. You need the balance of controling them and yet letting them be free in you. Such a tricky little line to balance. I think that's just why feelings can be left alone on their own otherwise they morph out of control--they need the balance of standing on a foundation built on truth and wisdom. What do you think?
This conversation seems strangely familiar. Such contradictions...to not ananlyze or direct all focus on emotions (or give them too much control) vs. taking EVERY thought captive. Do you have a chapter for this ash? ( we could have all of our problems solved by the end of this blog!! :D) What does this look like after we talk this out?
yeah I've actually been thinking about that whole love vs wisdom stuff since we talked about it. I wrote some thoughts about it at work today...I'll have to let you read that too. You're so smart!!! And I'm nto being sarcastic...you really are smart. And I'm blessed to have you to make me think.
